Cardiology

Since 2004, the AICM Foundation has trained hundreds of medical professionals in the field of ultrasound and cardiac surgery. Ukrainian doctors were met at the Necker Enfants Malades and Georges Pompidou hospitals in Paris, and French doctors came to Ukraine to instill modern diagnostics in the treatment of patients with heart disease.

One of the significant successes in Ukraine is the detection of heart defects in children under one year of age, which lead to "sudden infant death", thanks to 8- and 12-week training organized by AICM for Ukrainian specialists in France at Necker Enfants Malades Hospital under the guidance of Professor Daniel SIDI, a world-renowned cardiologist.

Another success - in 2019, 35 Ukrainian gynecologists and cardiologists were trained to detect "intrauterine heart disease", which paved the way for a new form of surgery in infants.
