Andriy Yurievich KURKOV, a Ukrainian writer, whose novels have already been translated into a dozen foreign languages ​​and gained recognition in Europe, his novel "Picnic on Ice" was especially popular. He began rereading and editing AICM's informative cancer brochure. The son and grandson of a doctor, he was faced with the oncological disease of loved ones, so Andrei enthusiastically agreed to take part in this project. In addition, he knows well the differences between Ukrainian and European medicine. Speaking excellent French and knowing 5 other foreign languages, Andrey spends half of his time abroad. In Ukraine, he devotes much of his time to the development of young writers.
