“The disease should be perceived not as a tragedy, but as an obstacle that must be overcome on the path of life. Our brochure is a practical and psychological help to people whose loved ones have been diagnosed with a terrible disease. We teach them to be optimistic, ”said Christian CARRER.
The book was co-authored by the chief physician of the Kirovograd Regional Oncological Dispensary Konstantin YARYNICH, doctoral student of the Department of Practical Psychology of IAPM Vladimir TARASOV and writer Andrei KURKOV. The brochure was published with a circulation of 90 thousand copies in Ukrainian and Russian.
Christian CARRER noted that the publication is not an ordinary translation from French, but a full-fledged work, which reflects the experience of Ukrainian oncologists and psychologists. The vocabulary of the book is readily comprehensible, medical terms are adapted for understanding by an ordinary person.
